Blackout Settings Overview |
What happens if PeerSync is performing a scan when it enters the Blackout period? If the option to "Suspend active scans when a Blackout period starts" is enabled the scan will be suspended and resumed at the point it was left off after the Blackout period ends. If this option is not enabled, the scan will be stopped during the Blackout period and will be restarted from the beginning after the Blackout period ends.
What happens if PeerSync was in the middle of transferring a large file when it entered the Blackout period? PeerSync will allow the transfer to complete but suspend any new events from being processed until the Blackout period ends. The suspended events or scans will be processed after the Blackout period ends.
What happens if a scan is scheduled to run during the Blackout period? Regardless if the option to "Suspend active scans when a Blackout period starts" is enabled the scan that is scheduled to run during the Blackout period will run after the Blackout period ends. Multiple suspended scans for a single Job will be compiled into a single scan that will run at the end of the Blackout period. |
