To modify preferences:
1.Use the navigation tree on the left to select a category.
The corresponding options will appear on the right side of the dialog. For example, select General Configuration in the navigation tree to view and configure general program-wide settings.
2.After making changes, click:
•Apply and Close to save the new settings and exit.
•Cancel to discard changes and exit.
•Apply to save your changes while keeping the Preferences dialog open.
