•A rich client interface: Rich client users have unrestricted access to all Peer Management Center functionality. This interface is accessible only on the server where Peer Management Center is installed.
•A web client interface: Web client users' access to Peer Management Center functionality is governed by their assigned role. The level of access and permissions granted to web client users is determined by their role. For more information about roles, see Managing Roles for Web Client Users.
Web client users can be categorized into two types based on how their access to the web client is authenticated:
•Internal users - Users whose access to the web client is authenticated through the internal PMC database.
•Active Directory (AD) users and groups - Users whose access to the web client is authenticated through Active Directory.
