From the Synchronization Summary view, you can click on one or more File Synchronization jobs and choose Reprocess/Upgrade Installation. This option will send a request to the selected PeerSync instances to install/upgrade given the configured settings.
The installation settings should be common for ALL the File Synchronization PeerSync instances in order to successfully install PeerSync.
