PeerGFS offers analytics capabilities for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing PeerGFS environments and the storage infrastructure they manage. PeerGFS analytics includes PeerIQ, File System Analytics, and File Activity Analytics.
PeerIQ is a virtual appliance-based analytics system that provides a self-hosted dashboard and analytics environment for monitoring the health and performance of PeerGFS and the storage environment.
PeerIQ provides real-time monitoring, performance metrics, and operational insights into PeerGFS and the storage environment. It is also the foundation for Peer Software’s File System Analytics and File Activity Analytics capabilities.
Access to PeerIQ is determined by the subscription license purchased from Peer Software.
File System Analytics is part of PeerIQ and uses scan-based data from Peer Agents to provide insights and trends about the unstructured data residing on the storage infrastructure.
File System Analytics can provide analysis of file systems, including file types, file sizes, data age, data access patterns, and other relevant metrics.
Access to File System Analytics is determined by the subscription license purchased from Peer Software.
File Activity Analytics is part of PeerIQ and uses real-time data from Peer Agents to provide insights and trends about how unstructured data and storage infrastructure are being used.
File Activity Analytics can provide analysis of user activity over time, including information about the top users by activity.
Access to File Activity Analytics is determined by the subscription license purchased from Peer Software.
